Meet the team: HR Executive - Vijetha Bangera

In this edition of Meet the team, we have a chat with Vijetha Bangera, who is part of the brilliant HR team and has helped the company significantly finding talent. 

Tell us about what you do at TEBillion

I work in the HR department as an HR Executive handling both recruitments and operations, from sourcing, screening, lining up candidates for interviews, and coordinating with the candidates and management to salary negotiations. Once the candidate is selected, I am responsible for carrying out the joining formalities, onboarding, induction and documentation.

What does your typical day look like?

My typical day starts with a hot cup of coffee for an energetic day ahead. I then get started with my work by setting up my agenda for the day, checking my emails, interacting with candidates, following up on interviews, scheduling interviews, handling other operational-related activities. My day is varied and jam-packed so it’s incredibly productive.

How did you find the onboarding process?

I had a smooth onboarding process, with all the support from the HR team.

What do you most value about the TEBillion culture?

At TEBillion we have lots going on from amazing team-building activities, indoor and outdoor weekly team outings to town halls. We also believe in continuous learning and development so we focus on skill-enhancement courses and training programs.

What’s something you are most proud of achieving since you have been at TEBillion?

I am learning so much with exposure to a professional environment and the brilliant HR team. I always appreciate the support and the motivation that I get working with those that are more experienced and have been working in the company for a long time. It is always thrilling when we succeed in finding the right candidate for the company whether that is tech or sales.

What are you most looking forward to?

I look forward to learning and evolving in my role and career.

What led you to a career in Recruitment/HR?

I was an introverted child but as I have grown up I have built my confidence and have adopted extroverted characteristics from interacting with people to public speeches. HR roles consist of interacting with a variety of people daily, which I have learned that I enjoy.

How did you find your way to TEBillion?

I found the role on LinkedIn, I saw the job details, which exactly matched my skillsets and I have always wanted to work within a Tech industry/company so it was the perfect role for me.

Who are you when you’re not at TEBillion?

Outside of TEBillion I am a person who loves travelling, exploring new places, trying new food and loves to cook because it's fun and also you get to eat it!
